I don't even know where to begin or how best to describe my situation. Since I've known her my wife has had 5 jobs in the past 6 years. 3 of them since we've been married. Each time I've somehow managed to get us through with my job keeping up with bills, rent, and food. Now after 3 months of her being unemployed I can no longer afford to support us. I was donating plasma for the extra money for food but since my car's engine failed a week ago I have lost this option. We only have her car but it is only good enough to go to and from work.
I have no idea how much money she has in her bank account and she keeps insisting we have money but we don't. At no point has she ever tried to file for unemployment, the last time we did they approved it but sent nothing during the 2 months she was out of work. The only money she has been able to make is about $100 a month streaming on twitch but I think it's just money from a friend of hers but thats another issue.
My paycheck is going to be short this week as I missed a day of work due to an injury, I have no savings, family is in no position to help, and the state will only give us $15 for food stamps. I don't even know what I'm asking, I just need to vent this all out since I have no one to talk to about any of it. I guess I should take the time to make out a budget for the week and see how bad its going to be.
