There have been several articles recently about the Amish and about other similar groups and how they provide an alternative to mainstream society. It made me wonder what actually makes for a simple life. Is it just having less stuff and spending less money, or are there other aspects that aren't so apparent. I know plenty of people with "less stuff" who are pretty miserable.
