Hi!I'm currently working on a project where I need to build a model of a distributor tray (located at the top of a fixed bed catalyst reactor). The way the tray works is there are a bunch of pipes at a fixed height and this chamber of water fills up until the liquid level reaches that height and water starts pouring through the pipes. Imagine this made out of wood and PVC pipes:https://ift.tt/2JnklPc created the base and am planning to create the walls of the chamber out of wood and I've been looking into epoxy resins, specifically brands used for sealing boats since the entire surface area of the wood I'm using will be submerged underwater.Someone tell me if this is a bad idea or if I should be able to get the job done with an epoxy coat. If you have other suggestions (that don't involve not using wood :O), I'm happy to take them. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2kWESeU
