I'm hoping go on a 6000 mile road trip in the future (east coast to west coast U.S. and back), and was wondering if anyone ever experienced the following I described in the title, (removing front passenger SEAT , sorry***)?

When sleeping I'd like my body to be completely straight. I would hope to do this in a "rest area" located along interstate highways, where truck drivers are common. I would likely have to put the passenger (seat*) on the top roof of my car.

My car is a hatchback (2 door Integra), but I will need to remove the rear passenger seat "back support", to be able to lie down straight. Upper part of my body would be in the trunk area of the vehicle. Modular table table will be made out off 3/4 plywood board, and oakwood dowels attached with a threaded insert.

Just wondering if anyone's tried this.
