So it's been over half a year since I started down my simple living journey. Before that I was quite into minimalism but I hadn't really put much thought into sustainability and actually simplifying my life in more than just the materials ways. Then something very traumatic happened and it forced me to start thinking more and now I'm about 8 months in I'd say?

Thus far I have: - dropped out of school (this was an excellent move even tho it sounds negative) - cleared out many many many things - left my miserable paid job working at a hardware store and started freelancing for less money - stopped wearing makeup, and when I do it's pretty minimal - deleted most of my social media apps from my phone - stopped buying clothes brand-new - started trying to drastically reduce my plastic usage - started yoga - have rediscovered my passion for sustainable affordable natural housing - stopped using drugs so much - paid more attention to travel - improved my mental health wildly - stopped buying coffee and food on the go

Now when I work, it's because I love it and the fact that it's not that much money is fine, I don't need much.

I've got SO so many things I want to do but thinking about them just makes me excited instead of stressed. My life has changed dramatically from feeling trapped in an endless cycle of working and studying for more money just to spend it all on rent to finally doing what I want and feeling free.

The aim is to one day qualify as a yoga teacher, travel and volunteer w my skills in yoga &a natural building. I'd also like to see my etsy business grow more

Thanks guys for being such an awesome resource
