Our lazyboy set wore out in 8 years. Fabric is separating along the seam, recliner mechanism broke.
I'd like to find a couch that can stand the test of time. I do have dogs. I've heard leather recommended but I know nothing about leather or how to tell if leather is quality leather or not.
In addition to specific recommendations I'd love to hear any tips you may have when looking for quality. Furniture sales feels to me a lot like used car sales. So many brands, rebrands, off-brands and middlemen that I'm exhausted just thinking about it.
