So I started with a new company 3 weeks ago and thought I did well by negotiating for an extra 6k in salary. However after being here and having access to the company's average pay for my position I found out I'm making 85% of what my peers are earning. My peer's qualifications are about the same, however in my team of 12 individuals, I am one of 3 that have a specific security quality.

My question is, should I address this soon, or should I wait until I've had more time to prove my worth to the company before asking for a raise?

Extra details: Current salary 74,500. Average salary 86,900. I'm 26/F, SEC+, NET+, A+, MCSA Server 2012 certified.

position is Server Admin. Last job was in the Army as a systems/server admin for 8 years.

Update: I'm going to take everyone's advice here and prove my worth and earn that salary at my next review. Thanks all!
