I have a motion sensor installed under the eaves of my front entrance. It has been replaced twice due to moisture damage (due to rusty screws and mould, but could also be a faulty batch according to our electrician). Our builder has previously repaired and sealed up leaks but heavy rain fall may have caused it to happen again.What are my options? If I relocate the unit to a nearby post, I will have to pay an electrician to do this, I have to repair the hole left behind, and the wiring will not be hidden in the eaves. Is there other options?
