I was looking at buying an iPod touch for my daughter, but I thought they were overpriced and they haven't been updated in about 4 years. So I went to Walmart and bought a Verizon pay-as-you-go Moto e4 ($50), and pulled out the Verizon SIM. Skipped all the Verizon setup, and installed a 64G micro-SD card for about another 25 bucks. As a hand-held digital device, without cell service, it works great. Good wi-fi, snappy quad-core CPU, reasonable Android version. Fingerprint unlock. Nice screen. Really nice little rig so far.
