I really hate to talk about this stuff because it’s embarrassing to admit how much assistance I get but I get help with child care and insurance (and like $90 in food share a month). I received a substantial raise and am worried about the “welfare cliff”. With 4 children as a single parent I am at the point that they will start taking away the assistance. If I make 10k more a year it looks like I lose the assistance completely and I will actually lose money. Any suggestions on how I should approach overtime and raises in the future?
