BACKSTORY:So, to cut a long story short, I have a chair and the hydraulic cylinder in its base was losing pressure at random. So, I did what any sensible person would do and went about trying to replace it. I got my clamps, and i tried to pin it to...basically everything imaginable. I yanked at it, pulled at it, slammed it with my hammer, but I couldn't get a good enough surface to hold it that'd be able to resist the tug for long. Earlier I clamped it on my dining room table and proceeded to damage one of the legs despite me holding it firm.tl;dr I've tried a bunch of ways to get it out, and i'm out of ideas. I can't even figure out how to take it apart fully so really, any input is helpful.I'm 5 seconds from spending the 50 dollars to just replace the plate.https://ift.tt/2JyYzaP via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2kX3Bji
