My toilet cistern is leaking from the bottom so I need to open it up to replace the washer. It is one of those ones against a wall with a push button to flush. I've managed to unscrew and remove the button, which from all the videos I've watched should be the only thing holding the lid down. But it's not. I can open it up about an inch at the front, but it seems to be attached at the back, and I can't figure out how to get it off. It seems like it is somehow hinged, and won't come any more open because the back of the lid hits the wall. Any ideas how to remove it?If this isn't the most appropriate sub I'm happy to be redirected to another one.https://ift.tt/2MjvEVD via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2ImDNGx
