Hi reddit, so I've got this idea for a manually-retractable sailcloth shade covering, that I can "hoist" up an angled plane, on anchors that are set into concrete. Almost.The shape is a dog-eared rectangle, and I'm thinking of 2, maybe 3 guide rails, to be hooked into grommets... on a custom tarp-type material. Wind and the strength of my anchors might be a factor, but I'm going to chance it. Probably put a cleat on the side of the house for a pull cord, could be motorized and computerized eventually.
