So, a few details about me.
I am a trans man who is not out to his parents yet. My sisters know, but for their sake I am staying in the closet for the duration of the wedding, so this means I have to wear a dress (blech).
I think I am a size 16 in dresses, but I don't know for sure. I haven't worn a dress in a few years. I'm fairly muscular with a hormone belly (working on it) because of the testosterone I'm on. I also have tattoos.
And my budget is $100 or less, not including shipping.
I live in Chicago, so if there are any suggestions for places I can go to in person, hit me up.
But! I am pretty much looking for a dark navy dress. I don't particularly care about what type of fabric, or what kind of cut it is, as long as it isn't shiny satin. I'm a little in over my head right now and would love help on this.
I've been looking on Azazie.com and Rent the Runway, but I'm not sure if I'll start feeling bad in those dresses. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
