Anybody here hand wash clothes? Seems like a task that would take maybe 30-40 minutes depending on the size of the load.
I'm moving to a new apartment and am considering trying hand washing instead of jumping to buy a machine.
In terms of frugality, let's say for an hour or two once a week you are saving on the price of a washing/drying machine and increased electricity and water use.
On the other hand, I'd need a drying rack, and ironing board and iron as well to straighten things out.
I'm living in the Middle East. People live slower here and take their time to do things. I'm not interested in multi tasking my days away.
Please respond only if you have experience hand washing clothes.
