The boyfriend and I are moving from a 1 BR apt to a 2 BR house. Our close date is June 25th and our lease is up on July 31st. This means we are paying rent and mortgage for July. We will be getting a $350 security deposit back. Also have to pay utilities for both places.
I have literally sold anything that is not tied down. My boyfriend is not as frugal as me so getting him on board with cutting expenses is difficult.
Need tips for cheap moving. Especially since we will probably be moving slowly since we have a month. We're in North GA so it's hot as hell.
How would you best use this time? I want to keep the air on in the house but we are not going to be there most of the month.
