I've got a GE GTD42EASJ0WW (electric) that isn't drying right. It will run for as long as I'm holding the start button, plus some other amount of time, which may be almost instantaneous, or it may be several minutes. It makes kind of a clunk noise when it stops.I have done basic research, and the most common causes are clogged vents and blown thermal fuses.I've checked vent. The same behavior happens without the vent duct attached at the back.I also don't think it's a thermal fuse issue, as I understand it wouldn't run at all if that was the case.Being a computer guy, I unplugged it for several minutes and tried again. No change. The problem I'm having does seem to correlate with weight in the dryer. If it's empty, it seems to run fine (though I only let it run empty for 30 seconds or so), but even a small amount of clothes, maybe half a small load's worth, causes it to stop within seconds. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2LXOKkj
