I've been dreaming for the longest time of moving to one of Scotland's islands to get away from the city and my boring ol' home town. I enjoy nature, silence, solitude and the sea, so I do think I would be a good fit and it's not totally unrealistic if I could get a job. Do you think living on an island lends itself to living simply? You'd think so because there's, well, not a lot to do, but many islanders I've talked to said that you shouldn't underestimate how complicated some things we take for granted on the mainland can be, such as online delivery, public transport and the like. Any opinions?
