I purchased a base model Blendtec blender from Sam's Club in 2012. It cost roughly $350. 6 years later, and after having blended 1021 (it keeps track of each blend cycle) smoothies, etc. the motor finally bit the dust - high pitched sound, burnt smell, display shut off. After a phone call, and after sending them my old base back in the mail, I received a brand new base and jar this past week. They paid for shipping both ways too.
I know this doesn't technically qualify as BIFL but I respect companies that make things right.
