Imgur post with pictures and full explanation: https://ift.tt/2sWSVVg day I plopped down on the bed and crack the bed rail broke. The frame attached to the bed rail is intact, but the rail lining the frame broke. (Not 100% sure if I'm using the right words to describe this.)The rail is 1in wide; the frame is about 3/4in wide.I would appreciate advice on how to fix it. My initial thought was to a) realign the wood and glue it in place and b) drill holes that went through the rail into the frame and then secure with screws.Does this seem like a good approach? I'm not sure if the frame is wide enough for that to be a good strategy? (I obviously don't want to drill/screw all the way through the frame.) What kind of glue should I use if I do this method?I'm not sure if the frame is too thin to support the rail with a screw in this manner. Any input would be appreciated.
