I've tried 10% before but it fucked me over in march/april - sold most of my stocks and then I had to buy them more expensive. Maybe 20% is safer ? I'm thinking holding long-term, but more like 5 -10 years than 20. I also don't completely trust popular advice that long-term investments should not care about things like stop loss. Stock market most likely will recover after a crash, but who knows if this doesn't take it 15 years to do so, and I'm interested to play investing game rather than retirement fund game.
