Hello - I'm UK based (NW region)I'm trying to make plans for fitting out a café, so would need a fair supply of this stuff (approx 12 tables + maybe some benches and/other fittings) As the question states, i'm looking for a cheap supplier for steel pipe to make furniture. Have looked on google, but the places I've found seem quite expensive. I am basing this on the odd other bit of info I've found saying stuff like "I did this table project for less than £70" but when i've priced up similar things, it has come to double or more! Sadly there were no links to their sources, or forums to ask in.I have searched in this thread, but the UK based posts are 3-4+ years old. I was hoping to catch someone with a little more recent experience in this.Another follow up question is on thread cutters - i've seen the pipe come threaded, and unthreaded - anyone know how much of pain it is to use a thread cutter yourself? Have found rental machines available, which vary from £40 per day (hand held?), up to £200+ for a bit more of a beefy machine. Anyone know if it would be worth the upgrade? For our US friends reading this - our DIY/Hardware stores suck for this kind of thing (B&Q/Screwfix) just don't stock this kind of stuff, nor do they offer a cutting service. Thanks in advance via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2rCPUKc
