I heard it's a bad idea to try to time the stock market but I want to know if the same happens to the graduation/job market. I worry that my original plan to graduate in spring 2020 may be complicated by a overdue recession. I plan to time the job market by taking more classes each semester to graduate in fall 2019. I'm hoping that fall 2019 has a lower chance of the recession than spring 2020 and so I would end up graduating on better timing.
