I live in Singapore and earn S$6,000 a month. Which is basically middle class income here. It took me a while to get my first credit card. Amex finally gave me one when my income was S$4,000 a month with a credit limit of S$8,500 and increased to S$16,100 (on my old income). I will forever be loyal to Amex.

Anyway I am now at an age (29) that I will need to apply for a housing loan and others. I have had a perfect payment record with Amex. I have never carried a balance ever in my life and have no other forms of credit other than the Amex card.

However my credit rating is still stuck at the lowest possible level. A quick glance would make it look like I've defaulted a few times. I do use the card a lot as I have a business as well and use it for company expenses (all my flights are essentially free now) but I don't see why high utilisation warrants a rock bottom credit rating.

Frustrated enough that I am posting my credit report here.

I will need that home loan pretty soon and I do need a visa/mastercard. As much I am loyal to Amex now they are not accepted everywhere especially when I travel. Any advise would be appreciated.
