This might be a bit unusual for this sub, apologies if so. My OH loves to knit. Winter wool socks in particular. We've been discussing what material is best and give the best quality sock. It appears I know nothing about knitting so thought I would turn to these hallowed grounds to see if there are any BIFL knitters who can advise.
Budget? Less than what would be paid for the factory made socks made from the same material. And probably less than $30/pair at that.
