I'm curious if anyone has positive or negative experiences with Vanquest. I'm specifically looking at this pack: https://www.vanquest.com/products/trident-31-backpack.html as a gym bag/travel pack/camera pack combo item.

Not crazy expensive but definitely not cheap at a couple hundo. On paper checks a lot of boxes (1000d cordura, ykk zips, duraflex clasps etc) but none of that matters if it's stitched together poorly and falls apart after 2 months.

[EDIT] I should add: Reason for targeting this is that it has a system that is highly camera friendly using a padded velcro divider system that is very much akin to normal dedicated camera bags. The camera bag aspect is the main reason I'm looking at this specific pack.

There's definitely backpacks that are probably more general use friendly but for my specific desire to have something that will work excellently for camera gear and "good enough" for the other use cases this pack seems to fit the bill rather than a generic ruck or 5:11's stuff that is more survival/bugout/edc focused.

In my research it seems this bag is not expandable at all and the main compartment isn't very flexible so it will be limited in volume, one of those packs that "feels" less than the 31 liters it touts. Also not as much molle as more tactical focused bags but I'm willing to make those tradeoffs for what is essentially a camera bag that will be used for other things while not serving it's primary function. My main concern though is Vanquest as a company, and if others have had good experiences with their products in general rather than this specific backpack.
