I know earbuds (I'm actually thinking of in-ear monitors, probably) are notoriously NOT BIFL, but I'd like some that last longer than a few months. The ones I have (NuForce) are great ... at least they sound great. The wires themselves seem to be literally dissolving though. The rubber cracks while they're packed away in their hard case, exposing wire the next time I use them. I'm tempted to switch to headphones, but I love how portable earbuds are.
