I'm looking for a white dishware set. This is a tricky one because if course dishes can be broken fairly easily. Currently I have a mismatched set of cute old lady dishes (you know the ones, roses, gold trim, etc) I picked up a dish at a time from value village, but I'd like a more cohesive look now that I'm a bit more settled.
Buyitonce.com only lists a corelle set, which I was surprised at because I'd always associated corelle with being cheap, but apparently the glass they're made with is quite chip and crack resistant. Im wondering if there's anything similarly durable but without the cheap look/feel ? Is there really any difference between an inexpensive porcelain dish set and a pricey one? Thanks for your help!
