After hearing a lot of good things about Steelcase chairs I grabbed a Steelcase Series 1 on a bit of an impulse - I was in need of a chair replacement and have been trying to fix some ergonomic issues with my home desk setup and by the specs it seemed right for me. But I'm really not finding it very comfortable, particularly on the back rest and lumbar support. I've tried the lumbar support in all manner of positions but nothing really seems consistently comfortable to the point it feels like it may be making my lower back sore. I've had it for about two weeks now and It's possible I just need to get used of it, or there's some outside factors at play, but I can't help but feel like it's uncomfortable while I'm in the chair, and in a way that's not just "im not used of something more ergonomic."
I'm mostly curious if anyone else has had experience / thoughts on this chair - it's fairly new and there's a significant lack of reviews. If you're looking into one definitely look into trying before you buy - as well there's definitely other factors that may make it feel like it's not a life buy as well.
