I really need help figuring out what to do. 2 years ago I was a Freshman in college having no idea how loans work so I never dealt with them outside of my Financial Aid loans and on top of that I was also dorming. Little did I know, someone took out a loan under my name. I found out a few months ago that I couldn't get a student credit card because of a collection. My parents were the only ones that have access to all of my information, they also stole money from my financial aid disbursement and tried to get cable under my name numerous times while I was away and before I was 18. When I questioned both of them, they immediately started to get defensive and blamed each other. Ever since I questioned them, every time I bring it up they try to avoid it. Am I in the wrong for assuming it's them even though they ask me for money when I don't have a job? If they are in the wrong, how can I deal with this? I already filed a dispute and it ended up being a lost cause.
TL;DR Parents took out a loan in my name and deny and blame each other avoiding any questions about it afterwards. Filed a dispute, but led to a dead end.
