on what items/services/etc did you spend a little extra on, but it was worth it for ease of use/joy/other benefits? and/or what items/services/etc did you spend a little extra on that you wish you had gotten the cheaper version, bc the extra money turned out not to be worth it?

---i will say i wish i had gotten ceramic (actually i have ceramic coated aluminum but it turned out well) cookware years ago. the ease of cleaning is nuts, nothing sticks to them, and i save so much time and potential pissed-off energy i had when i was scrubbing dishes that had caked-on food on them. can't think of an answer for the second part of the question at this time, i am pretty damn frugal. if i think of anything i will update though. can't wait to hear your answers...
