We were grocery shopping the other day and mangoes were 5 for $4. On the far opposite side of the produce section were the organic mangoes that were 4 for $10. Huge price difference!
We go to check out and while my boyfriend was talking with our cashier I noticed our mangoes were entered in for over $10! I stopped the cashier and said "I think you've rang in the organic mangoes on accident". He checks, and sees that we had the regular mangoes and voids them out of the transaction, but then doesn't take the mangoes out of the bag to rescan them.
Free mangoes! Keep an eye on your grocery tab, especially when you have produce and items that need to be manually keyed in.
