Hi,I have a hifi rig in small cabinet which gets hot so I wanted to diy some cooling setup. First idea was to us a thermostat sensor but when I turn on my media center it would be hot immidietly and fans would blow all the time, so no need to spend money for that.Next idea was to use any aparatus that is on to power the fans. But no appliance has additional AC plug, and usb ports cant power more fans.So i bought pc cooling fans and wired them to AC adspter set on 12V. But to turn them on or off i need to plug it in and out of the wall (wife is uber excied about that).Then I wanted to trigger them somehow, to create another circut and relays came up. If I want to have my AC powered fans to work while i.e. TV is on, i need to use some kind of relay. So fans are powered by 12V, and i need the usb from TV, providing 5V, to close circut and the fans to blow.I am a electro noob and have no knowledge bout relays so can someone help what kind of relay would i needThanks via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2IeFBp6
