I own practically nothing but a tent and air mattress already. I did get a good buy on a new cooler last night from Target, which is about twice as big as my old one and can fit 50 liters of items.
It'll just be me, my wife and dog for three days in Acadia National Park in June. I figured this would be a good place to go for ideas on how I can save some money along the way and not overspend on items I either don't need or lower end brands that may work just as well. Some things I would like to purchase are:
- Camping stove
- Cooking utensils
- Lights
- A "camelback"
- Picnic tablecloth
- Cheap frying pan/pot
- Camping chairs
I'm sure there is much that I'm forgetting but at least that is a start. So where is the best place to find a lot of these items?
