Hi, many thanks for reading. Image for reference:https://ift.tt/2jZ8lEu have a newish build flat and would like to mount ceiling to floor curtains for a large bedroom window, with 1 row of sheer and 1 row of normal weight curtains (as in the "desired" image). There appears to be a double recess built in to the ceiling (labelled "ceiling 3" and "ceiling 2") probably for this very purpose, but I'm unsure where exactly to attach the railings. I am also unsure for the purpose of the double recess, rather than just 1. Would you place the sheer curtain in the higher, and the normal curtain in the lower recess? Would you use a double rail in just the lower one? Also, is it necessary to attach the rail to the ceiling directly or would it be better to join it to the sides and suspend it? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2IlP5Md
