Currently live in central PA (Pennsyltucky) I mean no disrespect but I don't fit in with the general populace at all, I don't hunt, fish, drive a truck, go to church, or have any desire to be an oil worker. I've been an operations manager for a retail store for the past 5 years and I no college degree so I'm probably not going to find much in a big city but right now I only make 40k a year living in a shitty 1br apartment and I'm miserable. I want to start over and I was hoping I could get some advice from reddit as to where would be a feasible option, I currently have 7k saved up and no debt other than my car payment which is a $275 a month.
I'm thinking either Pittsburgh or Detroit as I have friends from high school who live in those cities so I wouldn't be completely lost but what suits me best in the long run is obviously the course of action I want to take.
