I was given ~30 12"x48"x1/2" plywood boards this weekend, but they've all been treated with some flame retardant coating. I want to build a couple work-space counter tops and also a shelf for my bedroom. Is this stuff safe to remove with a sander and dust mask or should I have a respirator? Only asking because I'd like to at least veneer the shelf if possible but not sure if the I should veneer over the coating without at least sanding first.I'd also rather use the wood than toss it. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2IgKWwO
