I am completely ignorant and didnt know the first thing when it comes to working on cars. That being said, I have saved over $1,000.00 on oil changes in the past year by doing it myself. Ask somebody you know that knows how to do it themselves to teah you. It is extremely easy, takes half an hour, and incredibly cheap to do it yourself. Im talking unscrew, drain, screw back on, and refill.
