Heyhey, Today another of my second hand - self refilled HP aio printer went t#ts up again on me. even with after market parts, these things tend to be very buggy/badly built. My deskjet 520 lasted well into the nillies, and I see some old laserjet 4's still doing their thing. But the handy aio's have all been pieces of cr#p (was a huge HP fanboy because of their HPLIP drivers)
Is there a brand out there that has a simple, trustworthy printer with good aftermarket support (no $$$$ vendor lockin after a few years).
duckducking and googling has brought me nowhere. Was planning to switch to laser, so searching for aftermarket stuff, xerox 6020 ended up pretty high. Hidden gem?
