I’m 21 and my girlfriend is 25. No kids with no plan for them, but we do have pets. We rent a house and have multiple bills. Here they are in list form
Rent: 850 S-Ins: 130 R-ins: 170 Phone: 280 R-CP: 258 S-CP: 283 Wifi: 100 Gas: 200 Socials: 35 Water: 100 Groceries, pets, extracurricular: 300 =2600
We have a combined monthly income of 3400 which after bills should leave us around 800 extra dollars a month. We never really see this at all though and don’t necessarily struggle but things are kind of tight.
I’m also planning on finishing my marketing degree but I still have two years left. I also have been investing in a 401k through my employer for 4 months.
We would like to live a well off life and we are just wondering what we can do to save money, or if we are doing things right at all?
