Pretty proud of myself. The supply water line to my house busted and the township and insurance company said not my problem, call a plumber. Well a little YouTube and Googling plus multiple visits to the hardware store and I was able to fix it for a grand total of $31.87 + 6 hours of digging with my brother inlaw. Google estimated this job by a plumber to be $1,500 to $2,500. Not shabby.Got it verified as A OKed by the FIL who knows his way around plumbing and I'm just going to leave that hole open a few more days to ensure no leaking anywhere else. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2KLUOfU
