I'm a bit of a noob about home stuff, so sorry bear with me. I've done some googling and I think what I'm looking at is a hole in a knockdown drywall part of the ceiling. The repair suggestions usually have to do with a straight up hole in the ceiling though. In my case, the actual ceiling looks intact, but the texture part has just fallen off. Here is a pictureIt's about 5 inches from top left corner to bottom left corner. What would be the best way to go about patching this up? The hole is above the stove area, so I imagine the hole was caused by moisture from stove top steam without using the kitchen vent. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2KApxfI
