Just got an eye exam 13 months ago and forgot to get a contact prescription... Well. I've run out of contacts and to schedule another exam + fitting + contacts it's like $300 (I don't have vision insurance)
I know my vision has stayed pretty much the same (or at least I am comfortable with what I have now).
After searching reddit and the internet, I found that no contact lens seller in the USA will allow you to purchase without a prescription.
I bought mine in the UK through Vision Direct (which is now owned by Walgreens in the US). It was $125 out the door. No prescription needed.
SUCK ON THAT HEALTH CARE INDUSTRY.
