Hello, I'm pretty much a newbie to DIY projects, but I've been slowly transforming a chest freezer into a kegerator over the past few weeks. I'm almost done, but have a simple yet challenging question. I'm working on putting a drip tray on the front of the thing, and I need to make a "shelf" for the tray to sit on.I picked up a couple of wood shelf brackets but I need to cut a notch in the top of each piece for the tray to fit into. I don't want the notch to go all the way through, because I don't want the tray to be able to slide back and forth and potentially fall off. So, I need to cut something that looks like this (apologies for the crude photoshop job.. only had a couple minutes):https://ift.tt/2IMp2kN length of the piece is only about 8 inches, so I'm not sure if using a jigsaw would give me the fine control I'd need. I thought about an oscillating saw, but as an aforementioned newbie, I don't own one and probably wouldn't be using it for anything else any time soon. Anyone have an easy idea that I'm overlooking? Thanks! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2k8YrQU
