I apologize if this is not the correct sub for this.
I am graduating college and will be moving out to live in NYC soon and hoping to find some tips regarding financial frugality in big cities. I understand cities like New York often suffer from severe price inflation on most goods, services and experiences and was wondering if there were any strategies/methods to combat this. For instance, I have looked into the possibility of ordering household goods online rather than buying them locally to save money. I am already planning on living with roommates and walking to work but would appreciate any further help. Thanks!
