I have been investing since Feb 9th correction, went well for some weeks then it crashed again and I realized I wasn't prepared to loose my money so sold everything. P/L +500 no big deal.
Now, some months have passed and begun learning everything from scratch, still I am struggling to find a simple and kind of safe security to buy for short term until I am willing to go full In stocks again.
I can't deal with this volatility. I want a low safe return until at least end-of-year or 1 year term. I am ok with no more than 5%. Even 1% is preferable than cash alone. My broker for now is TD Ameritrade. I am non-us citizen so I do only pay 30% on dividends.
What do you recommend? (funds, ETFs, stocks, bonds, etc)
btw: I still do not understand bond ETFs.
