I know that I need to use a stud finder to actually find the studs, but I'm not sure if they give that detailed of information. I know pretty much nothing about construction so that it why I came to r/DIY to ask you nice folks for some advice. Googling extensively brought up results for a different type of problem people were having with old houses related to plaster walls.TBH, I simply think he just doesn't want me to make holes (albeit tiny ones) into the drywall as opposed to being afraid that the TV might fall, break, and rip out a good chunk of the drywall in the process.Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
