Married couple in early 30s. We are above the cutoffs for deducting IRA contributions. Wife has no 401k through work. I max out my 401k and also contribute to a betterment wealth account.
I'm not sure if it's worth hiring a cfp. I have a lot of different investments and we are thinking about having children soon and would like to have a solid plan. Paying the 1% fee seems like a lot and not sure if I should just use the betterment advisor network . I'm just tired of managing everything on my own, we both have very demanding jobs in the medical field.
Also, is there a joint checking account you all recommend? Was thinking of Ally as we have a joint savings account with them already.
Thanks for your help!
