The phone I use to get online is owned by my mom, so if I come up with a decision based on replies, she may or may not go with it.
But anyway- the plan my mom's Straight Talk phone gets every month is the $45 plan, with unlimited talk/text in the US, and 10GB of high speed data, with really slow (i guess 2G?) after that. There is apparently a $50/55 plan that has no high speed data limit for the month.
Is there possibly a better prepaid plan that, if chosen, the current phone can be...converted to? In the rare occasion I go to the local Dollar General, I see a prepaid plan that costs less and seems to have the unlimited high speed (though I can never remember the company name so I can't look it up to be sure).
My mom likes to watch videos on her phone a lot since we have no tv service or internet provider, and the 10gb rarely lasts more than 2 1/2 to 3 weeka so no hs data limit would be really good to her (and me if I'm being perfectly honest)
