Fine /r/DIY folks, I come to you in an hour of need for some advice on a home improvement project. Currently I’m re-doing my “game room” and adding recessed lights to the ceiling (currently the only lights are these tiny track units. I’m already going to be opening up some of the ceiling drywall to repair a water leak. My question is this…will I be able to run romex from inside this exterior wall to the space above (between floors 1 & 2). It’s an exterior wall and I don’t’ know enough about construction to know if it’s possible to get a drill in there. I don’t mind removing some drywall to get access, but does that get me anywhere, or am I pretty much stuck? I also don’t want to disturb the crown molding if possible. Thanks for any insight! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2EiZc1z
